European field hockey championship for women 2013

The 2013 Women's Field Hockey European Championship was the eleventh edition of the Women 's European Field Hockey Championship . It took place from August 17 to 24, 2013 in Boom (Belgium) together with the European Men's Championship. The venue was the Braxgata Hockey Club . The team of the Federal Republic of Germany, which defeated England in the final, became European champions; Third place went to the Netherlands, ahead of Belgium.

The third and fourth of both groups formed a relegation group. The games of the third against the fourth were taken over from the preliminary group. The last two were relegated to the Nations Trophy.
