The 2015 men's European field hockey championship was the 15th edition of the men 's European field hockey championship . It took place from August 21 to 29 in London together with the European Women's Championship. The venue was the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park . The Netherlands became European champions, defeating defending champions Germany 6-1 in the final; Ireland took third place ahead of hosts England .
