European Women's Field Hockey Championship 2011
The 2011 European Field Hockey Championship for women was the tenth edition of the European Field Hockey Championship for women. It took place from August 20th to 28th in Mönchengladbach together with the European Men's Championship. European champions became the women's team of the Netherlands, which defeated the team of the Federal Republic of Germany in the final; England took third place ahead of Spain.

Final round
Relegation games
The third and fourth of both groups form a relegation group. The last two have to relegate to the Nations Trophy, from which Scotland and Belarus will be promoted for the 2013 European Championship . The games of the third against the fourth in the same group were taken over from the preliminary round.
