Jacob Ernst Schneeberger (* in the 18th century; † in the 19th century) was a German painter .
In 1809, Schneeberger was listed in the court accounts of the residential city of Darmstadt .
He is credited with a miniature on ivory by Major General Karl Ferdinand von Schorokofsky from Hesse-Darmstadt , which was made around 1795. It is labeled "Schneeberger pinxit" and was owned by Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig of Hesse around 1917 .
He made a portrait of Carl Friedrich von Wiebeking , after which Anton Wachsmann made copperplate engravings in 1801, which can also be found in the collections of various museums.
