Jacob Italiano (born July 30, 2001 in Perth ) is an Australian football player .
Career
Italiano began playing football in the youth academy of the Australian first division club Perth Glory and was already playing in the first team in the A-League as a 16-year-old , the second youngest player in the history of the A-League. In total, the attacking midfielder completed 18 games in the highest Australian league.
In June 2019, Italiano was signed by Borussia Mönchengladbach and will initially play as an amateur player in the U23, the second team, in the Regionalliga West . The club had Italiano on its wish list as a 16-year-old.
