Jacob Seeling

Jacob Seeling (* 1568 ; † September 27, 1627 in Breitenbach ) was a German tithe , city judge and council treasurer as well as Saxon and Bohemian hammer mill owner .

In the mountain town of Schneeberg in the western Ore Mountains , Seeling became a tithe, city judge and council chamberlain. He bought the hammer in Wildenthal from Wilhelm Friedrich von Milkau, the owner of the Edelhof Alberoda near Aue . Seeling also bought the hammer mill in the Bohemian town of Breitenbach, and from 1615 to 1623 he was also the owner of the hammer mill there. He also owned the Blauenthal hammer mill .

On July 4, 1617 Jacob Seeling received the approval from the chief administrator to build his own brewery on his hammer works in Breitenbach. The council of the city of Platten then granted him a corresponding privilege.

He was married to Maria Zobel, the daughter of Hans Zobel the Elder. Ä. from Wunsiedel (* February 23, 1537 in Wunsiedel; † September 24, 1603 in Schneeberg). The marriage remained childless.
