La Cañada de Verich ( Catalan : La Canyada de Beric ) is a Spanish municipality in the province of Teruel in the Autonomous Region of Aragón . It is located in the Sierra de la Ginebrosa around 27 kilometers south of Alcañiz in the south of the Comarca Bajo Aragón (Baix Aragó) in the predominantly Catalan-speaking area of Franja de Aragón . On January 1, 2019, the community had 89 residents.
