La Portellada (in the local dialect la Portellà ) is a Spanish municipality in the province of Teruel in the autonomous region of Aragón . It is located around 10 kilometers west of Valderrobres and west of the Río Tastavins in the Comarca Matarraña (Matarranya) in the predominantly Catalan-speaking area of Franja de Aragón . On January 1, 2019, the community had 235 inhabitants.
history
La Portellada was separated from the neighboring community of La Fresneda in 1784 . The two districts of Mas de Dal and Mas de Baix are reminiscent of the emergence of two complexes.
