Albalate del Arzobispo is a municipality in the province of Teruel in the Autonomous Region of Aragón in Spain . It is located in the comarca Bajo Martín on the eastern bank of the Río Martín and had 1980 inhabitants on January 1, 2019.

history

The place where Visigoth pottery remains were found is a Moorish foundation and derives its name from the term al-balat (the way). From 1149 he was subordinate to the Bishopric of Saragossa .
