Fórnoles ( Catalan : Fórnols de Matarranya ) is a Spanish municipality in the province of Teruel in the Autonomous Region of Aragón . The high-altitude community is located around 16 kilometers west of Valderrobres in the Comarca Matarraña (Matarranya) in the predominantly Catalan-speaking area of ​​the Franja de Aragón below the watershed between the Río Matarraña and the catchment area of ​​the Guadalope . On January 1, 2019, the community had 80 inhabitants.
