Jacob Zollner

Jacob Zöllner (* 1956 in East Berlin ) is a German sculptor .

biography

Zöllner graduated from school in the 1975/76 school year in Berlin. He came into political custody in the Brandenburg penitentiary and was ransomed by the federal government . From 1981 to 1988 he studied at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin with David Evison and Karlheinz Biederbick as a master class student .

From 1994 to 1997 he was a lecturer in sculpture at the Free Institute for Art + Design in Neustadt an der Waldnaab . From 1985 to 2002 he took part in solo, themed and art exhibitions in Berlin , Nuremberg , Bonn , Regensburg , Kempten , Weiden and in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn , and in 2008 in the Archaeological Museum of the Martin Luther University in Halle -Wittenberg. Zöllner lives in Cologne.
