The building with the postal address Jacobiturmstraße 16/17 is a listed building on Jacobiturmstraße in Stralsund , on the corner of Langenstraße .

The two-storey semi - detached house was part of the rectory's property at Langenstrasse 58. The facade of the semi-detached house was designed together with its side facade in the 17th century. In 1835 the land was divided.

After war damage, only the facade of the northern half of the double house, No. 16, remains . The southern half, No. 17, was reconstructed in 1972.

The facade has large segmental arched windows on the ground floor . Segment arch hatches are arranged on the upper floor . Each second axis from the outside has a portal with a strong rustic frame and cornice .

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 355.
