Jacobus Mancadan
Jacobus Sibrandi Mancadan (* 1602 in Minnertsga , † October 4, 1680 in Tjerkgaast ) was a Dutch painter and politician of the Golden Age . He is mainly known for painting the landscapes of his home province of Friesland . He was influenced by Salvator Rosa .
As a politician, Mancadan was the mayor of Franeker from 1637 to 1639 and Leeuwarden from 1645.
