Fiderd Vis
Fiderd Vis (born March 29, 1981 in Aruba ) is an Aruban judoka .
Vis won a bronze medal at the Panamerican Judo Circuit Championships in the Dominican Republic in early July 2007 . He then received a wildcard to participate in the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, which took place shortly thereafter , in which he started in the -81 kg weight class.
In the following year, Vis and swimmer Jan Roodzant formed the Aruban Olympic team at the Summer Games in Beijing. During the opening ceremony he was the flag bearer of his country when the teams marched in. He competed in the weight class up to 81 kg. There he lost to the Chinese Guo Lei in his first fight and was eliminated.
