Jacques-Henri de Durfort, duc de Duras ( October 9, 1625 - October 12, 1704 ) was a Marshal of France .

He was a brother of Guy Aldonce de Durfort, duc de Lorges , who also became Marshal of France. The marriage with Marguerite Felice de Levis resulted in three children.

His youngest son Jean-Baptiste de Durfort, duc de Duras (1684-1770) was also Marshal of France.

Durfort first served under his uncle Turenne , (here he was wounded in the battle of Rethel ) then under the Prince of Condé . Louis XIV appointed him governor of Franche-Comté and Marshal of France ( Maréchal de France ) in 1675 ; in 1689 he received the title of Duke and Pair of France .

During the Palatinate War of Succession in 1689, Durfort led the defense of the Mainz fortress against the troops of the Augsburg Alliance together with Nicolas Chalon du Blé .

On August 10, 1689, Bruchsal was shot at and completely destroyed under his command .
