Jacques Krabal

Jacques Krabal (born April 10, 1948 in Épieds , Département Aisne ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

Krabal was working as a teacher when he was elected mayor of the small parish of Brasles in 1983 . In 1992 he moved to the General Council of the Aisne department. He gave up his post as mayor in Brasles and was elected mayor of the small town of Château-Thierry in 2008. In the parliamentary elections in 2012 , Krabal stood for the Parti radical de gauche in the fifth constituency of the Aisne department. In the second round, he was elected MP with 42.2% of the votes because the conservative previous MP Isabelle Vasseur (36.7%) and the FN candidate (21.1%) failed due to a lack of agreement.
