The Jacumba Mountains are a mountain range of the Peninsular Ranges in the eastern part of San Diego County , in southern California , not far from the border between the United States and Mexico .

The mountain range runs northwest to southeast and lies east of the In-Ko-Pah Mountains and north of Interstate 8 . It is approximately 18.5 km in length and Table Mountain at its southeastern end is approximately 5 km northeast of Jacumba Hot Springs .

The Jacumba Mountains reach their maximum height of 1375  m at Jacumba Peak in the south of the mountain range .

The Tierra Blanca Mountains and the Sawtooth Mountains are northwest of the Jacumba Mountains and the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is directly north. The Coyote Mountains are in the northeast of the mountain range. The Volcanic Hills lie on the northeast flank of the Jacumba Mountains .
