Jaider Romero (born May 22, 1982 in Valledupar ) is a former Colombian football player who played almost his entire career for Atlético Junior from Barranquilla in the Colombian First League .

Romero is right-back and wears the number 23. His fame increased considerably after the owls kick from Luis Moreno , since a similar attack on the same animal in by him video recordings Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez present. Romero's attack took place almost two years earlier than the Morenos on April 18, 2009 in his club's game against Independiente Medellín (2-1).
