Jairo Arboleda was one of Colombia's most promising midfielders in the 1970s. Because of his technical skills, he earned nicknames such as El Maestrico (The Master) or Rey del Túnel ( Tunnel King ). Despite these skills, Arboleda's career was short-lived. Persistent injuries and a complicated private life led to an early retirement.
