Jakob Bichsel

Jakob Bichsel (born May 5, 1931 in Diessenhofen TG ) is a Swiss composer and conductor .

Life

Bichsel completed his studies at the Zurich Music Academy with Heinrich Menet . As a conductor, he led various wind orchestras, including the Romanshorn wind orchestra and, from 1959 to 1972, the Stadttharmonie Eintracht Rorschach . As a composer and arranger, he worked for a music publisher in Kreuzlingen .
