Jakob Eberle (* 1718 in Maschau , Bohemia ; † 1783 ibid) was a sculptor of the Bohemian late baroque , who was called Il Romano because of his Italian education .

The main altar of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Karlovy Vary is one of his most important works . Other works by the master can be found in the parish church of "Apostle Jacob" in Sokolov .
