Jakob Eklund (born February 21, 1962 in Gothenburg , Sweden ) is a Swedish actor who became known in Germany through his participation in the crime series GSI - Spezialeinheit Göteborg . Eklund is active in film and television as well as in the theater .

biography

Jakob Eklund is a son of the actors and actresses Olof Eklund and Brit Ångström-Eklund.

In 1987 he completed his acting exam at the Stockholm Theater School before he had engagements at the Stockholm Reichstheater and the Dramatic Theater .

He made his film debut in the feature film Fanny's Farm (original title: Änglagård ), which premiered in 1992 and to which a sequel was made two years later ( Änglagård - andra sommaren ), in which he also participated.
