Jakob Josef Ziegler (born July 14, 1798 in Dachau ; † June 3, 1856 there ) was a Bavarian beer brewer, restaurateur and politician.

Jakob Josef Ziegler was born as the son of the beer brewer and citizen Johann Evangelist Ziegler. He was a son-in-law of the former member of the state parliament, Franz Xaver Wieninger . In 1820 he took over his parents' Steigerbräu, which passed to his son Johann Baptist (1827–1861) after his death and to his youngest son Eduard (1840–1901) after his death. Another son, Josef (1836–1868; year of death written on the tombstone), became a priest.

In addition to his gastronomic activity, Ziegler was also politically active. He was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies from 1840 to 1848. In 1839 he was characterized as "very wealthy" and "of the best religious beliefs and political views".
