Jakob Szkutta (born July 22, 1999 in Vienna ) is an Austrian basketball player. He is part of the line-up of the Vienna DC Timberwolves .

career

Szkutta played in the junior division for the Vienna DC Timberwolves club . In 2015 he moved to the Oberwart Gunners  in the Bundesliga and made his debut in Austria's top division in September 2015. In 2016 he and other talents of his age group from other European countries were  invited to the “Basketball without Borders Europe Camp”, a screening event organized by the World Basketball Federation FIBA and the North American NBA League . During the summer break of 2019 he returned to Vienna to join the Timberwolves.

National team

At the European B championships in the U16 age range, Szkutta led the Austrian selection in 2015 with an average of 17.4 per match.
