Jamal Al-Abdullah

Jamal Al-Abdullah Sulaiman Sultan ( Arabic جمال العبد الله سليمان سلطان; * 1963 ) is a former Qatari athlete .

The sprinter set his personal best in the 100-meter run in 1984 with 10.1 seconds, and in the same year he finished the 200-meter run in 20.6 seconds. Jamal Al-Abdullah took part in the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , where he competed in the 4-by-100-meter relay together with Faraj Saad Marzouk , Waheed Khamis Al-Salem and Talal Mansour . He finished the track in sixth place and qualified for the semi-finals in the relay race. He set his best Olympic time in the semi-finals with 40.43 seconds in the 4 x 100 meter relay and finished eighth. He also competed in the discipline of the 200 meter run and finished the first lap in fourth place with a time of 21.10 seconds. In the quarterfinals he achieved a time of 21.44 seconds, which earned him seventh place.
