Jamel Saihi ( Arabic جمال السايحي; * January 27, 1987 in Montpellier ) is a Tunisian football player . His preferred position is the defensive midfield.
Career
societies
Saihi began his career at HSC Montpellier, where he played for the second team from 2004. On April 20, 2007, he made his debut in the first team when he was in the Ligue 2 game against FC Tours on the starting line-up. With HSC Montpellier he rose to Ligue 1 in 2009 and became French champion in 2012 .
National team
On November 19, 2008, Saihi made his first appearance for the Tunisian national soccer team when he was on the starting line-up for the friendly against Ghana . With Tunisia he took part in the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
