James Roland Dexter (* 3. March 1973 in Fort Ord , California ) is a former American American football poker players. He played five seasons as tackle for the Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League (NFL).

NFL

Arizona Cardinals

Dexter was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round of the 1996 NFL Draft . He was a starter in the position of the right tackle from 1997 to 1999 . In 1997 he missed several games due to a knee injury and much of the 1999 season due to a triceps injury . After Dexter received a contract extension of one year in 1999, he was released in 2000 as a free agent .

Carolina Panthers

In April 2000, the Carolina Panthers signed Dexter. Due to an elbow injury that he suffered in the preseason , he got little playing time. He was released on February 28, 2001.
