James Gordon (athlete)
James Gordon ( James Allen Gordon; born December 27, 1908 in Barberton , Ohio , † May 26, 1997 in Mount Airy , Ohio) was an American sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
In 1932 he qualified third at the US Championships with his personal best of 47.4 s for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles , where he was fifth.
