James Pringle
James Edward Pringle (born January 20, 1949 ) is a British astrophysicist .
Pringle is Professor of Theoretical Astronomy at the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Cambridge . His main research interests are fluid dynamics in accretion disks .
In 2009 he was awarded the Eddington Medal for his work .
