James Twining

James Twining (born December 13, 1972 in London ) is an English writer .

Life

James Twining grew up in Paris from the age of four and stayed there until he was eleven. In 1983 he returned to the UK to complete his school years in London. He then studied at Christ Church College in Oxford a . a. French literature which he was able to complete with a distinction.

Various jobs followed after graduation. Before starting his writing career, he worked as an investment banker in the London branch of UBS Bank and later founded his own company with a fellow student, which he sold for a profit in 2002. Because of this, he was named one of the “ Best of Young British Entrepreneurs ” by a magazine . Ultimately, he began a career as a writer with the publication of the book The Double Eagle (German edition: The Last Coup ) in 2005.

Twining is married, he has two daughters and a son.
