Jamie Allinson (born June 15, 1978 in Stockton-on-Tees ) is a retired English football player .

Career

Allinson was a trainee in his sophomore year at Hartlepool United when he first played a competitive game for the professional team in a 3-2 win in the Football League Trophy in November 1995 . A few days later, the central defender was also in the starting eleven in a 4-2 first round defeat in the FA Cup against Darlington FC , and in the spring of 1996 he represented Ian McGuckin four times in the Football League Third Division .

In 1996 he signed a professional contract, but left the club a little later and subsequently played for AFC Guiseley , Guisborough Town and Durham City . At Guisborough he was active at least in the 2000/01 and 2001/02 seasons.
