Jamie Anderson (DJ)

Jamie Anderson (born in London ) is an English DJ and tech house producer.

Career

Jamie Anderson first grew up in West London, where he had contact with jazz musicians since childhood . The family later moved to Bristol .

In the early 1990s he discovered his passion for hip hop and electronic music. At the time he was working in Bristol in a record store specializing in electronic music and enjoying his first successes as a DJ.

In 1997 he founded the Artform label , which was supposed to offer a platform for musicians who, like himself, moved between the genres of house and techno .

In 2001 he released his debut album Blue Music on the NRK label.

In the 00s, his releases and worldwide live performances earned him international recognition. He collaborated with recognized musicians such as Jesse Rose , Deepgrove , Owain K and Switch.

In addition to releases on his own label, his music and remixes have been released on labels such as Rotation, Hooj , Front Room , 100% Pure , Cocoon , Mija , Klang Elektronik and Flash Recordings .
