Jamila Lunkuse

Jamila Lunkuse (born January 1, 1997 in Mengo ) is a Ugandan swimmer .

Lunkuse attends Plymouth College in Plymouth in Great Britain . This is made possible for her through a sports scholarship. The Lithuanian Olympic champion Rūta Meilutytė is one of her classmates there . Lunkuse belongs to the club Plymouth Leander and is trained there by Lindsay Dunn . Lunkuse was part of the Ugandan team for the 2012 Summer Olympics . In London she started on the 50-meter freestyle course. There she was eliminated as the last placed in her preliminary run and finished 52nd in the final ranking with a time of 28.44 seconds. In 2012, the 1.53 meter tall athlete weighed in at a competition weight of 60 kg.
