Jan-Hans Pokorny (born March 6, 1966 ) is a former German ice hockey player .

Career

The attacking player Jan-Hans Pokorny first played in the 1984/85 season for the upper division ERC Ingolstadt . In 1987 he moved to EHC Essen-West in the 2nd Bundesliga North and scored 31 goals in 65 games in the following two years. In 1989 Pokorny first moved to the upper division EC Nordhorn and moved to league rivals EC Braunlage during the season . In the following season 1990/91 Pokorny returned to Nordhorn, only to move on to ETC Timmendorfer Strand during the season .

With the Timmendorfern Pokorny was first champions of the Oberliga Nord in 1992 and, after two games against TuS Geretsried, German league champions. Due to the amalgamation of the two-pronged 2. Bundesliga, the Timmendorfer could not rise. In 1993 Pokorny moved to Herford EG , which was dissolved at the end of the season due to bankruptcy . Then Pokorny moved in 1994 to EC Wilhelmshaven in the second-class 1st League North. During the 1995/96 season Pokorny moved to Braunlager EHC / Harz , with whom he rose to the 2nd division north in 1996 and a year later to the 1st division north.

Then he ended his career.
