Jan Dydak
Jan Zygmunt Dydak (born June 14, 1968 in Czeladź , Poland - † March 27, 2019 ) was a Polish boxer .
Life
Dydak was Polish champion 1987 in welterweight (-67 kg) and 1990 and 1991 in light middleweight (-71 kg). In 1988 he won after victories over Jose Garcia, Venezuela (4: 1), Humberto Aranda, Costa Rica (4: 1) and Adewale Adgebusi, Nigeria (4: 1), as well as an injury-related wo- defeat in the semi-finals against Robert Wangila , Kenya who have favourited bronze medal at the Seoul Olympics . At the European Championships in 1991 Dydak won the bronze medal again. Dydak died on March 27, 2019 of complications from cancer.
