Jan Eickelberg

Jan Martin Eickelberg (* 1972 ) is a German lawyer .

Career

Eickelberg studied law from 1993 to 1999 in Bonn, Lausanne and Münster. In 1999 he passed the first state examination and in 2003 the second state examination. In 2001 he obtained a Master of Laws from Cambridge University . In 2004 he was at the University of Münster for Dr. jur. PhD . From 2004 to 2006 he worked as a lawyer , since 2006 as a notary assessor at the Rheinische Notarkammer in Cologne. From 2009 to 2011 he was the managing director of the German Notarial Association . Since 2011 he has been Professor of Civil Law , Commercial and Company Law and Law of Voluntary Jurisdiction at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and is currently Vice President of the University for Teaching and Quality Management in Studies.
