Jan Guryca (born October 28, 1982 in Chamonix , France ) is a German- French ice hockey goalkeeper who has been playing for EG Diez-Limurg in the regional league since 2019 .

Guryca made his professional debut in the 2000/01 season when he was between the posts of EC Bad Nauheim in the 2nd Bundesliga for the first time. In addition, the goalkeeper was appointed to the DEL squad of the cooperation partner Frankfurt Lions for the first time in the relegation round of the same season , but without completing an assignment for the Hessen. In the 2003/04 season , the left catcher moved to the upper division ERV Schweinfurt and was reappointed to a DEL squad thanks to a sponsorship license . However, he also did not play in the top league for the Düsseldorfer EG .

After four years in Schweinfurt, Jan Guryca moved to the second division Eisbären Regensburg . With a funding license, he was also in the extended line-up of the cooperation partner Nürnberg Ice Tigers , but without being used again in the German Ice Hockey League. For the 2007/08 season , the goalkeeper signed a contract with REV Bremerhaven , where he was also eligible to play for the Hannover Scorpions in the DEL thanks to a sponsorship license . In 2010 Guryca switched to the Straubing Tigers in the DEL after three years in Bremerhaven .

In December 2013 Guryca moved back to EC Bad Nauheim in the DEL2 . After the 2018/19 season, he ended his professional career to work full-time as an insurance broker. He also plays for EG Diez-Limurg in the regional league.
