Jan Høegh

Jan Høegh (born April 13, 1946 ) is a former Danish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Høegh joined the Danish national team as a young driver. He started for Denmark in 1968 in the International Peace Tour and was 34th of the tour. In 1969 he started again and was classified as 26th. At other starts in later years, he retired from the race. In 1969 he was with the victory on the first stage of the Tour de l'Avenir also temporarily take over the leader's jersey, in the final he was 23. His first Danish title he won in 1970 in the team time trial , his team also drove Jørgen Marcussen . In 1978 he won the traditional Fyen-Rundt . Høegh often raced in Germany . In 1970 he was able to win two races (in Dortmund and Gütersloh ) within 24 hours .
