Jan Hoffrichter (born June 8, 1980 in Gießen ) is a German fistball player .

Jan Hoffrichter, who comes from Gießen, was two times German champion and 2006 European Cup winner in fistball with TV Westfalia Hamm . Hoffrichter also took part in the finals of the six best German clubs in previous years with MTV Diepenau and Rot-Weiß Koblenz , where he played in Koblenz at the side of his seven year older brother Dirk and reached the final three times. At the 2003 World Cup, the Germans and Hoffrichter achieved the silver medal after losing to hosts Brazil. In 2007, too, the hope of winning the World Cup was not fulfilled. The third place at the home tournament in Oldenburg and the surrounding area represented the weakest World Cup result for German fistball players in the history of the World Cup.

After moving from the first Bundesliga north to the first division south, Hoffrichter had another home game. At the EM hosted by TV Stammheim in Stuttgart, the player with Germany did not get beyond third place. With the field round 2008 on Hoffrichter took over the position of player-coach at the gymnastics club Stammheim . However, he was no longer able to actively intervene in the relegation battle after the European Championship break due to knee surgery. After completing his studies at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (automotive engineering), Hoffrichter lives in Kornwestheim, at the gates of Stuttgart. He started a position at Bosch in Stuttgart-Feuerbach in the capital of Baden-Württemberg. Hoffrichter's personal homepage was created as part of a study project.

The home club of the 28-time national player Hoffrichter is SKG Rodheim-Bieber, based near Giessen . His father Bernhard Hoffrichter acts as the chairman of the arbitration tribunal and as a fistball specialist in Hessen, and he is also the holder of the A license as an arbitrator. In the 1970s, his father Hoffrichter also took part in the final round of the German championship as a player for MTV Giessen.
