Outdoor sports

The outdoor sports department is a very diverse sports department in TV Stammheim. Everything you can do outdoors is here. It used to be called Ski + Radabteilung, which is also very close to today's fields of activity. There is a huge range of sports here with dozens of volunteer trainers. In addition to the "regular sports" skiing and cycling, you can now climb, jog, walk and much more. The outdoor sports department has had an external base for decades. Until 2006 this was Haus Au in Au , Bregenzerwald , Austria . The outdoor sports department has leased a new house since 2006. The Jägerstübli is located between Gargellen and St. Gallenkirch in the Montafon. It has been a base for summer and winter activities since then and has been very popular.

Gymnastics department

The gymnastics department is the counterpart to the outdoor sports department in the hall. Gymnastics (from the Pampers rockers to everyone's sport) women's gymnastics, aerobics, jazz gymnastics, health sports (spinal column gymnastics, yoga, Pilates, pelvic floor gymnastics), step aerobics, volleyball (leisure time), badminton and much more is offered in the largest section of the TV .

Others

  • Tennis department
  • Table tennis department: 4 men's teams, 7 boys 'teams and 1 girls' team
  • Dance sports department: It was founded in 2001, is the youngest of all departments and six years later had almost 80 members.

Since the 2001/02 season, handball has been running in Stammheim in the HSV Stammheim / Zuffenhausen syndicate (until the 2013/2014 season under the name HSV Stuttgart-Nord), which was formed from the clubs TV Zuffenhausen, TSV Zuffenhausen, SG Zuffenhausen and TV Stammheim becomes. The HSV starts in different age groups.

Game operation

Fistball

The department succeeded in establishing the first men's and women's teams in the highest German divisions without buying anything from outside. In the youth sector, too, one can look back on numerous DM participations. In the field, all teams play their home games on the club's own grass pitch at the "old gym". Since last summer there is a pergola there to protect against bad weather. The home game days take place in the "New Gym on Münchingerstraße". This is only about 100 m from the lawn. Even the youngest ones at the age of six start playing on smaller fields.

youth

There are over 600 young athletes in the TVS.
