Jan Jacob Verdenius

Jan Jacob Verdenius (born September 11, 1973 ) is a former Dutch / Norwegian cross-country skier .

Verdenius achieved his best results in the 2000/01 season. He won the Sprint World Cup in Engelberg and was able to celebrate two more podium finishes during the season. These good results secured him victory in the overall ranking of the Sprint World Cup . At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2001 , he reached tenth place in the sprint competition.

In 1996 and 1997 Verdenius was roller-ski world champion. At the roller-ski world cup held in the summer, he finished second overall in 2000. He was able to win five competitions.

After the 2001/02 season, Verdenius ended his active career.
