Jan Keller (born October 24, 1982 ) is a Swiss handball player .

Jan Keller is the captain of TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen . His position is back center. He launched his handball career in the 1988/1989 season in the junior department of St. Otmar. Keller went through all the junior levels of the traditional St. Gallen club. His junior years were crowned by the U21 championship title in the 2001/2002 season. He played his first game in the NLA team in the 1999/2000 season against HC GS Stäfa. In the following season (2000/2001) he was able to celebrate the championship title and the cup victory with St. Otmar. In the 2004/2005 season he was with St. Otmar in the European Cup semi-finals. In February 2008, Keller tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. In the 2008/2009 season he was in the semifinals of the EHF Cup with TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen. The final stop was Gorenje Velenje .

After the 2011/2012 season, Jan Keller ended his active handball career. In 13 seasons, Keller played over 350 championship and cup games for St. Otmar. There are also over 40 European Cup appearances for TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen. This makes Keller the player who has played the most international games for the club in the long history of St. Otmar. After the end of his career as a player, Jan Keller was assistant coach and coach to head coach Jan Filip in the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 seasons .
