Jan Kułakowski
Jan Jerzy Kułakowski (* 25. August 1930 in Myszków ; † 25. June 2011 in Warsaw ) was a Polish politician and Member of Parliament for the Greater Poland Voivodeship (2004-2009) from the party Freedom Union , a Liberal Democratic Party of Poland , part the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe . He is considered to be "one of the pioneers of Poland's accession to the European Union" and a "valued and talented diplomat and humanist". From 1948 to 1953 he studied law and received his doctorate in law from the Catholic University of Leuven .
