Jan Malmsjö
Jan Wilhelm Malmsjö (born May 29, 1932 in Lund ) is a Swedish actor and singer.
Live and act
Malmsjö received his acting training between 1950 and 1953 at the renowned Dramatens elevskola , the drama school of the Swedish National Theater in Stockholm . Since 1953 he has been a member of the Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern .
Malmsjö became known to a broad German audience as Bishop Vergerus in Ingmar Bergman's drama Fanny and Alexander .
In Sweden Malmsjö is also popular as a singer. With the hit Hej Clown he took part in the preliminaries for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969 .
Jan Malmsjö is married to the actress Marie Göranzon .
