Jan Olaf Roaldset (born March 28, 1946 in Molde ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Roaldset, who started for the IL Hjelset-Fram , achieved seventh place on the large hill at the Norwegian Championships in Bærum in 1965 . Two years later at the Norwegian Championships in 1967 Roaldset came 11th on the normal hill. In 1968 he won the Svenska Skidspelen and at the Norwegian Championships in 1968 in Bærum the silver medal on the large hill.

At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble , Roaldset jumped from the normal hill to 21st place, before reaching 13th place on the large hill.

At the Norwegian Championships in Odnes in 1969 , he jumped from the large hill to fifth. He repeated this placement at the Norwegian Championships in Meldal in 1970 . In the same year he also reached tenth place at the Svenska Skidspelen in Falun .
