Jan Rüdiger (Author)

Jan Rüdiger (born December 12, 1989 in Schleiz ) is a German author of novels and plays for young people.

Live and act

From 2000 to 2008 he attended the Dr.-Konrad-Duden-Gymnasium Schleiz , where he wrote his first play Dictatorship in the Classroom as part of a specialist thesis . This was published in 2009 by Plausus Theaterverlag in Bonn. From 2008 to 2013 he studied Romance languages, English and school pedagogy at the University of Erfurt , where he then also taught pedagogy and theater studies for three semesters.

From 2013 to 2015 Jan Rüdiger completed his preparatory service at a regular school near Erfurt, before moving to a secondary school in Wuppertal, where he has been a teacher since then. In 2019, his first novel for young people appeared with Sixty Seconds Future , followed in 2020 with Our Little Secret the second.
