Jan Riesenkampf (* 1963 in Zabrze , Poland) is a Polish writer .
Jan Riesenkampf studied Polish philology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and did not complete his studies (as handicapped ). In the 1995s he began to work as a writer and belonged to the group of poets To był naprawde Fascynujacy wieczor in Warsaw. His first volume of short stories was published in 1992.
Works
Riesenkampf published a total of six volumes of poetry and translated many poems from French ( Jacques Brel ), Italian ( Cesare Pavese ), Greek ( Konstantinos Kavafis ), Catalan ( Lluís Llach ) and Russian ( Bulat Schalwowitsch Okudschawa , Alexander Jakowlewitsch Rosenbaum , Marina Iwanowna Zwetajewa ) .
Some of his poems have also been published in Nowy Nurt, FA-ART, and Lampa magazines.
