Jan Soetens
Jan Soetens (born January 7, 1984 in Geraardsbergen ) is a Belgian cyclocross and road cyclist.
Jan Soetens won the junior class race at the Superprestige in Gavere in 2001 . In the 2004/2005 season he was Belgian champion in the U23 class. At the end of 2005 he won the silver medal behind his national team colleague Niels Albert at the U23 European Championships in Pont-Château . In 2006 Soetens became a professional at Jartazi-7Mobile . In his first year there he won the Grand Prix Julien Cajot in Leudelange . In the 2007/2008 season he was the Belgian amateur champion. In 2009 Soetens drove for the Belgian Continental Team Revor-Jartazi and ended his international career after this season.
