Jan Zilius

Jan Zilius (* 1946 ) is a German lawyer and manager .

Life

Zilius studied law at the Saarland University and the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . He has been working as a lawyer since 1976. Between 1980 and 1990 he was legal advisor at IG Bergbau und Energie in Bochum. After that, he was a member of various boards and supervisory boards of the RWE Group until 2007 . In 2015 he was appointed head of the minimum wage commission. He is also an honorary judge at the Federal Labor Court .
