Jan van Son
Jan Frans van Son (* 1661 in Antwerp ; † around 1700 ) was a Flemish still life painter. His father Joris van Son (1623–1667) was a still life painter. His pictures were in great demand in England, so he came to the island at a young age.
He had the habit of painting his pictures halfway and finishing them later. This led to some of his works being completed after his death.
